Vibration/Tremble on dump truck when driving

    most owner operators inspct every component of their truck and climb underneath it once a week. Tug on drive shafts, pull on slack adjusters, ec, etc. None of those drive shafts had a hand wrapped around them in 3 years going off how that carrier bearing came apart. But hey, some people just dont care a long as it drives. That is probably one dangerous triaxle onthe road. ill bet half the slack adjusters arent working and all the cam bushings shot

    Call me crazy, but I lay on my back and put a foot against the driveshaft and push on it to find stuff like this.

    I just looked at that first picture again, and it looks like all the balls are out of that bearing?
    Laying flat on bottom.

    Vibration??
    You could have heard this coming a 1/2 mile away!

    Didn't it spill your coffee?

    Remember, it's a Mack. You either finish drinking your coffee before you get in the cab, or have a thermos with a screw on lid!
