You could get a room at the Capri Rodeway Inn off rt46 in Little Ferry, NJ. They have 15 or 20 truck parking spaces. It's only a few miles from North Bergen. Haven't been there in years but I remember it well.

 

If I wanted to roam around in the city I have secret parking spots that are secure locations I could potentially drop my trailer without being concerned about theft or towing.

 

I used to run locally around there and I wouldn't go in there unless it was a Popeyes Chicken lunch break involved.

The service plazas further south down the turnpike are a little quieter. If it's an early AM unload I'd ask if they'd let you spot up at the door for the night.

 

If you relieve a armed guard, does that make him unarmed? An would he need a hand?

Years ago I used to stay at the Capri alot and it was nice.
The last time was 5 years ago and man had it gone downhill , the room was so bad I used the shower and slept in my truck .
