Violation of FMCSR

I would demand a truck with a busted right tractor fairing so it looks like you jac-knifed. Then you could say “so there I was, coming down grapevine with 45,000 lbs of meat in the snow with a stalled busload of kids at the bottom”.

 

I was looking at that photo some this morning. I pulled reefers a bit. I have seen busted doors etc. However I have never seen a door busted like that one. It honestly looks to me like it was not closed properly and came open at highway speed and got trapped in the wind stream. If it happened that way I bet the driver pulling it had to stop and change their diaper.
