I had a speeding ticket on my way to work one morning....I told my boss that day. Why would I want to try to hide anything anyway. In the end it was reduced to a parking violation, no points.

    You should.

I held a old class A prior to cdl years. Ran up a stack of tickets in time. In those days it was not really that important to inform boss about ticket unless it involved his truck or accident with CMV.

The state almost suspended me at 7 points. Gave me a good scare in the DMV with big suit as required by court because I had a CDL by then in the mid 90's

That was when companies started seeing my driving record not so good. And it took a little time off with a local dump paving opertion to cool off that stack of personal car tickets and a couple CMV accidents in a few years on my part long ago.

The BIG problem with CDL today (The reason I turned mine in 2013...) is because I am a medical pain patient. I cannot risk a DUI with a CDL. Even with a car license pain medicine in my system with driving is DUI in a car, thats arrestable in Arkansas no ifs buts or maybes. I rather run that on a car license than destroy a good strong CDL with that charge.

For my part I take extreme precations driving very little and only after waiting 7 times the last dose half life in the body in terms of amount of times up to roughly 5 days before driving. Im in that cycle now waiting to drive to doctors soon. So there is nothing in me. Blood or urine.
