    They actually replaced the C Rations. K Rations had been gone for a while.

    When I went in during the 70's the H/LB were gone, but the Ham and Eggs were #### nasty.

    I used to Haul C Rations about twice a week somewhere or the other so I kept a case behind.d the Drivers seat. If we were in the field and I didntime what they gave me, I went and got what I wanted.

    Still had them in Hawaii in the early 80's. Ken-L-Rations. Deeeelicious!!! My bro was in 25th Inf. Tropical Lightning. We had cases of them. Yum!

    K Rations were combat Rations from WWII... Technically C Rations were gone too well before then and had been replaced with MCI's (Meals, Combat, Individual) but the were still refered to as C Rations.

    A Rations - Fresh Food
    B Rations - Powdered or rehydrated food
    C Rations - Pre cooked Individual Meal.

    I would bet money what you had were MCi's.

    I used to Haul them in Germany in the early 80's.
