I am referencing the freightliner cascadia that many companies are going to.I assume that going visor-less must have something to do w/fuel mileage and fuel mileage IS the new rage. I have been cognizant of the visor-less truck after having driven one way back when.Ya it was a cabin over and I merely pulled both shades down and to this day,i ride w/both shades down and i have not been in a visor-less truck in over a decade and have not been in a cabover in longer than that.
OK.PRIME's newest and quite flashy actually truck is the cascadia. One can not help but notice them as they are clean, bright and shiney.Guess what else? They are visor-less.
Do any of you notice the same kind of stuff that I tend to or am I that far off w/my likes and/or dislikes as i soak in,visually, the new trend in trucks? Could this visor-less spec'ed truck be a victim of costs and these companies are SO cost concious that they order a fleet w/o the basic necessity of an external visor?
I am beginning to not enjoy the change that we as drivers are experiencing. That may need to be posted in the political section.sorry-
Visor-less trucks.What's up w/that?

I was wondering what INT could do to make the Lonestar more of an eyesore, now I know.Take the visor off.LOL

The Lonestar is starting to grow on me
. Maybe I've been in a Frieghtshaker too long?

cascadia does not come with a visor from the factory it is a dealer installed option
-
Supposedly it is all about fuel economy, but I stand firm that the Cascadia is the absolute ugliest truck ever produced. Even the Lonestar would need a case of beer to sleep with a Cascadia.
allnite Thanks this. -
