Do you use them? If so , what kind? In your experience are they worth the cost? Any input would be appreciate.

I did not have those available to me when I drove. In my time we had manual adjusters. Autos did not exist then. several wrenches in sizes to fit were used when the truck started eating too much air for the stopping indicating the brakes are out of adjustment.
I would love to have a box of those in a big truck. They are nice to have, the new product. -
Use a tape and measure from the can to center of Clevis.

Scrape it here, step on it scrape it there. Measure. -
Wiggle rod for play and Clevis to check for can bushing wear.

Didn't you go to driver day care in the late 80's and drive in the 90's?
Didn't you drive a 2000 automated trans freightliner? But it had manual slacks?
