Need some help from the folks who have changed these before, either replace with same or install the metal bracket?

Also do you need to support the cab in order to do this or will the air bags support the cab and you just need to raise one side to get the arm reconnected?

Need to do mine and trying to decide whether to stay with the same torsion spring or the plate and if it's a big issue to realign the cab (I have a weed burner exhaust so can't do the strap as I've seen done before to pull it over).

    Any advice is appreciated...

If you have a flatbed, maybe you could park next to it and use a 4" strap and winch to pull the cab towards the flatbed. Just make sure you've got a secure anchor point for whatever hook you're using.

I used original and it didn’t solve the problem. I changed basically all the cab mount bushings front and back. Had alignment check and done but the cab was still shifting so I installed the plate and no more problems. Cab is now centered in the back. I used the leveling valve behind the cab to raise it up and stuck piece of wood to support then installed the plate and all good now. Hope this helps!
