Volvo 780 2013 - mid 144 psid 230 fmi 5

    There are still a few things you need to check. 144 PSID230 is a code for the ECU. FMI 4 and 5 pertain to voltage. Check the harnesses that connect to your ECU, on the driver side of the engine. Make sure that the locks havent wiggled loose. Also,, manually inspect them for debris,, corrosion and moisture.. Also check the two fuses for Qualcomm. Pull them out, and see if you have the same issues.

    Pretty poor answers here so far. This is a bad power cord or ground to the Vehicle ECU.

    this problem is when the body and cabin emergency stop power switch system not working properly or when the problem in the system is bypass. mid 144 the SAE j1587 data link is primarily used for programming , diagnostic and data reporting.

    I had this issue and I was able to fix it cleaning up all battery connections and grounds to the frame. I know this is old, but this thread is about the only thing that comes up in google searches.
