volvo 780 fuel feed pressure fault

Check your spark plugs!

Maybe a bad/clogged injector. The cylinder needs fuel just like a gas engine needs spark would produce the same results.

 

Had the same issue, turns out I eventually had to replace the pump. But, I can't remember I replaced the something near the manual pump. I assume your talking about the fault with a pump and 3 lines under it on the dash

 

no i believe it has to do with the pump itself…….when i had the volvo d12 I had sooooo many issues with that truck…and that was one of them……thing is I finally replaced the pump and accessory drive, and still didn't fix light coming on….got rid of it 2 months later...

 

Check if you getting air in fuel if you do then check is in inside engine or outside
if inside then your injector cups are leaking
when they injector cups leaking you engine makes noise like you take hand full of change and shake and loses power on heavy loads
if you adding coolant that may be a problem or check your water separator fuel for coolant
you can check if you getting air in fuel inside engine but you got install clear lines of fuel and have to use clean fuel from bucket or canister
and you need to check fuel pressure your pump may be bad or central drive is getting bad
central drive you can check by removing belts of and see if is any play

My dad is a tucker and hes always asking me to look up information for him while on the road. I found your post, he has a FUEL PUMP and 5 BARS displaying on the DID, is this the same icon you had displaying?
