Nope that looks to be a 2 piece mirror, mine for some reason is all one piece with no holes back there. Thats why I had to come here and ask how to get it off. LOL!

this is a 1 piece back cover .... the two holes are were the plugs are covering the screws that hold the cover on.... this pic is of a 2006 and is the same as my 2006 -
mirror looks the same except there are NO HOLES!! My freightliner had that also where the grommet type thing you had to remove to access the screws. But mine is one piece, no holes, no plugs covering the screws at all..just one flat black piece..........

Ok, tilt it from the bottom I assume? I may have tried that but I just didnt want to rip it off!!! -
Yes so that the bottom is pushed in. Wiggle it as you lift up. You'll see that there is a plastic pin that sits inside a V shaped bracket. Problem is there is nothing in the manual that explains this, mine was trial and error.
nikmirbre Thanks this. -
Ok good, Im glad someone on here has same type mirror as mine and has been through this!!

first remove mirror glass. till the mirror so top is fully out. now pry mirror upward till it release now remove and unplug. now pry stop mirror upward till it release unplug remove. now on the inside of the mirror cover you will see the release clips to remove the outside cover release these clips very carefully donot break and remove the cover. On the top door hinge you will see the coax and wires for mirrors and windows. Take this door hinge apart to run coax thought the hinge. then under dash. the coax cant have an end on it and must be soldier on after you run it. Also volvo uses a splitter for the am/fm radio and cb. Keep the drive side door for cb radio. but leave the passenger side door for the am/fm radio. Your cb will work so much better with much more reach.
