Volvo d13 2012 water separator is black after 3000 miles driving wath can be the problem

    That is a sign of bad injector cups and O-rings. When you are driving and step on the gas pedal is your bottom fuel mileage indicator going below 6 MPG?

    That's what i thought as well, it's the combustion soot going into the fuel side turning it black.

    I'd think bad copper washers not cups...

    .

    Also if you look in the fuel tanks with a flash light you will probably see sooth particles on the bottom and air bubbles coming off the return

    Just replace injector and injector caps week ago mechanic say i have some pitting on cap fiting bath new cap is going to sill, maybe is soot left over in the fuel tanks

    What was the reason pf changing the injectors and cups??? Also any difficulties starting the truck?

    I was having vibration problem and problem with starting the truck and when they start changing injector and caps they say i have pitting on one cap fitting on the cylinder head buth new caps going to sill good and fix the problem, now the fuel milege is much better, truck is driving good only problem is the water separator filter is turning into black

    Fair enough. Your mechanic probably didn't put tge o-rings correctly i think.
    How about your ATS system.......you still have it or its deleted?

    If o rings is not install correctly is not going to leak collant also , you asking is bpf delete?

    Can the truck drive like that if soot is going to fuel and is going to make demage to the truck
