volvo d13 500HP or d16 500HP with I-Shift. Which one is better choice to buy?

Stay away from the d16 aside from the problems parts availability is terrible, usually at least a week waiting for the part and then a less than 50/50 chance it's the right one!

 

Don't buy any Ishift, they are junk. 15k for new one

I love him pulls like a ####### the most close to 80klb
Atl canada east coast .. cross usa ... 6.5mpg

Last owner change
All 200kkm tranny filter
All 400kkm tranny oil and filter
Engine all 40kkm oil change

Now 1.280000km on it 1. Engine and tranny

 

I've had 0 issues with my ishift either.

 

don't buy Volvo I had Volvo d13 455 I shift xe and starter gone @ 200000 turbo,egr,injectors all of them, hydrocarbon air purge valve, coolant tank, head gaskit all gone @ 44000 dpf filter cleaned two times. single handed driven by me taking care of everything from Volvo dealer only chande oil from Volvo and speedco only every 18000 miles.

 

do not buy D16, trouble reported. I have D 13.
ISHIFT is junk plagued with electrical problems, just spent 5k on mine at 600k, after 5 weeks of troubleshooting with volvo assist.
DON T DO IT. GET 13SPD, MUCH CHEAPER LONG RUN
