I have volvo with Cummins isx 500 and i have replaced two injectors since the past 6 years. When the first one died i was told by some shop i should do all of them lmfao. $7000 i said no thanks just replaced the bad one and i think i did right decision. I hate replacing healthy parts on my truck, btw i have driver he owns Volvo vnl 670 with d 13 engine and he replaced injectors and cups not even 2 years ago and he barely drives maybe 45k per year and yeah shop told him new injcetors and cups and egr and bla bla bla.. costly repair especially when u have to pay twice for the same repair...

    Guys

If you want the injectors to live it's MANDATORY to get rid of the 25um prefilter and replace with either 10um, 7um or 2um.

These common real engines require much finer filtration to keep the fuel injectors alive.

This information has been thoroughly found out over the last 20 years in common rail diesel vehicles but for some reason the semi truck crowd is now only learning this.
