Volvo D13 SCR DEF Engine Derate – who is responsible?

my Volvo has 1.2 million on it and has never had a def, or dpf repair

why because my truck doesn't have that crap on it..... you buy new you get all the problems with a new truck

 

I find it amazing t hat tyher op buys a 7 year old truck and expects the mfg to be responsible.

 

Thread is over 3 years old but it keeps getting dug out the wood work by people looking to blame someone else.

 

I think getting rid of the crazy 5mph truck limp would be a start.

Allow it to be driven like a normal vehicle, the limp is a serious safety hazard
