VOLVO D13 Soot Level not going down after parked regen

Got 2018 VNL d13
Bought with 340 k miles. Now truck has 415 k miles. Never ever asked me for regen…..
I do 90% highway
Is it normal??? And truck doesn’t let me to start a regen, says temporary lockout
Only once at 390k miles truck showed me check engine light, but was running normally. Went to mechanic and he did a regen with scanner and cleared codes….

 

There should be a list of conditions in the aftertreatment menu that need to be met before you can do it. The computer has to request it, you can't do it before the filter is full. This is probably the temporary lockout you're seeing. You also can't have a check engine light, the PTO needs to be off, the parking brake needs to be engaged, the engine must be at operating temperature.

 

That’s the thing: it never becomes full. Usually it’s on a middle…
everything else is OK, but lockout is CHECK.

 

Have same situation right now ..is not the first time . Had it before . Now I got a vocom 2 and the profetiinal tech tool (off line) and I'm resetting the soot level manually thru the program .after few times it stopped not recognizing the cleanning of DPF .One thing in common is was doing during winter (cold weather ) . I'll try to update the software of ecu of volvo I guess . Just like you I replaced lot s of thing on the aftertreatment part.
My advice. Go to aliexpress.com and buy the program ptt (no need to buy 1000 something subscription) get yourself a used laptop and Vocom 2 connector and force regen it if need it to or reset the soot level . Volvo ingeniering in electronics will leave your pockets dry with all the dealers
