Volvo Recall M0306 - Do I need it?

    Got a recall letter in the mail indicating I had the option to get the M0306 software update for my 2019 D13. Once said update is completed, either OTA or dealer, I get a sticker to put on the door frame.

    Have no idea what they are updating , why do I need a sticker?
