Volvo the code MID 128 SID 27 FMI 7 Should I drive or call the towing

I would wait until it's late and then drive it into the truck stop or wherever you're trying to get to. To call a tow truck for seven or eight miles is just too much money for such a short distance

 

So did you replace the turbo or.just the actuator?

 

The whole dang turbo. The bill was not really fun look at, just sayin.

 

My actuator is acting up now. Found a rebuilt turbo with actuator for 1400$ in Los Angeles. So next week having it replaced.

5k to 6k from Volvo.

 

In US$ came to 6700$. The repair was done in Winnipeg,MB at the Volvo dealer so I had to transform from CAN$ to US$.
