Just heard it yesterday from a buddy of mine over at landstar, he is saying you will only be able to get a Cummins in a ram PU truck, I also heard Ford was buying Cummins. I have not confirmed any of that but like I said that's what I heard, either way I need help figuring out which truck I'm going to get i checked their website again today and they have a few new trucks in with the DD 15 motor but based on the reviews I have been reading I'm thinking I'm going to go ahead and get the Freightliner just because I can get it worked on just about anywhere and get parts for it easily.

Cummins will continue in the Ram and Nissan will have a whole another Cummins in it soon. Big trucks, small trucks, forklifts, and generators will still have Cummins. Cummins is not going anywhere.
Furthermore, where is your common sense - Ford is going to buy Cummins but only the Dodge Ram PU is going to have a Cummings. Who buys a company then sells the prize product to the competition exclusively? You need to work on your lunch counter BS detector. -
LMAO Like I said that's just what I heard. But anyway Im thinking it would make more sense to get the FL, I already know I can't afford to sit and wait for parts, I just checked out the Volvo cause It looks like the wheel base is a bit shorter.

I read some good advise here. Im going to add in my experience with my 05. On the starter you have a couple of small wires going to the positive lug. Check those for bad cpnnection inside the terminal. Above the fuel filter to the right solenoid rack, the far right check for properly connected. Check on the batteries fuse connections corroded fuse terminals. All these items effected my engine.
