Your truck is a 2006, if the Pedal has never been changed, it's very probable that it's the problem.

You already determined it's not the ECU.

I would suggest to remove your Pedal and check it for side to side movement.

Unfortunately you need to do the process of elimination without throwing parts at it.

Without the ECU throwing a code, it's hard to determine what it could be until it gets worse or you replace the part.

I am having the same issue and replacing accelerator pedal didn’t help.

 

My speed sensor quit couldn’t shift or accelerate removed it and it was in pieces 07 780 VED12 10 speed autoshift and tranny stuck in gear till I stopped and killed truck

 

Well got mine going had abs and tcs light on everyone kept telling me no derate over that but pulled two abs fuses and breaker works perfect now so on to brake repair now
