    I have been issued a 2014 Volvo VNL670 from my company. Supposedly this model has the optimized idle feature from cummins, but no matter what I've tried, I can't get the system to turn on. The control panel in the sleeper always says OFF and I can't find a way to switch it on. If you have this system in this truck, please let me know how to turn it on/operate it.

    Never had it but I believe the Cummins system is called ICON, while Detroit has Opti-idle.

    Good luck solving the problem.

    Volvo incorporates the ICON controls into the display control panel in the sleeper. No idea how it works as our trucks don't have it.
