MID 128 is the engine ECU, SID 27 is the VGT actuator, FMI 3 is low voltage.
I don't have a list for MID 140. All I can tell you is that MID 140 is the instrument cluster and FMI 6 is high current. I don't know what PID 118 is though, so I can't tell you what has high current.
Pablo-UA is good with Volvo's and he hangs out in the Volvo section, you might get some better help in there.mahittsingh Thanks this. -
ECU is powered directly from batteries, there is thin red wire with fuse on it. If it's autoshift there is one more powering transmission TCU. Check these cables, right on batteries.

Whatz happening is secondary air buzzer comes on air drops to 0 or 60 or 20.. sometimes it does that for a while and then all of a sudden it goes back to normal. I noticed when I hit a pothole or when itz windy or when i m changing lanes..it happens. When sitting overnight it starts bk normal n morning. Andy cab air leveling valve is not working. Could it be that?

Mid 140 pid 118 fmi 6
Secondary air pressure transducer
High voltage
Not sure what this part is but it seems to be electrical in nature. I would guess that you have a wire shorting out somewhere. That would explain why it does it on bumps or turning.mahittsingh Thanks this. -
Secondary air pressure transducer would be the sensor that converts the air pressure to an electrical signal to the gauge. Not sure where it is on a Volvo, but you need to find it. It may just be a bad connection on it, could be a wiring problem or the sensor failing. Good chance that you'll find a bad connection in the circuit, judging from it changing when you hit bumps.

Thanx everyone...found the problem...it was the sensor. On the driver side if you take out the bottom panel by the brake pedal behind it you will see two sensors on the firewall. Sensor on the right was bad. Take it out and replace it. It cost $90. 1/2 hour job.

First of all u have bad wiring ore bad air pressure sensor of rear brakes
And as usually EGR problemsmahittsingh Thanks this. -
Actually the problem creeped up again...guage would still drop but this time i unplugged the sensor i had changed and plugged it back and everything is normal. I think its a short circuit somwhere.will try to trace it up to the cluster this weekend and update you all.
