Not really. I don’t deduct clothing because we don’t have a required uniform. I don’t need office supplies because everything is paperless. I don’t drive to turn in paperwork because I live 425 miles from our office and everything is paperless anyway. I don’t push the envelope on what can and can’t be done, my way of doing things hasn’t failed me yet and for me it’s not worth throwing up red flags trying to write off a couple hundred dollars to keep from paying the government $60. Same as I won’t spend $1000 on something I don’t need to keep from sending the government $300. I’d rather send them the $300 and keep the extra $700 in the bank. The great thing is we can all do what works for us.jcatel and gentleroger Thank this.
