My primary customer has a very rare load to that area next week. I haven't been up there in several, several years, and probably won't be back for a long time. Any suggestions for which load board might be the best for finding something coming back to Texas?
Rate going up is high enough that I can afford to deadhead some miles if needed. Just looking to get back as soon as I can.
Any help is appreciated.

Using ITS was rough. Malarkey Roofing in Portland accepts bids on their freight. It's the only way I saw over $2/mi out of there yesterday, no tarp to boot. Booked through Action Heavy Haul, but you can Google them if you want to shoot for direct freight. That should get you to the better side of Denver, and I'm sure you'll know what to do from there.
If you could wait another 2-3 months it'd be onion season, and it'd be an entirely different story.FtWorthTrucker Thanks this. -
Not much choice, loading in the morning and will be up there on Monday. Thanks for the lead.

Aside from that, it's about 70% lumber loads. Bring your 8' tarps if you're willing to use them.

Not sure how fast you're looking to get home. If you can grab a load back towards Spokane and then load out of northern ID or western MT it generally pays a little better than loading a long one off the coast. Everyone is trying to get off I-5.
Also Central Oregon Truck Company has broker loads available. I've never talked to anyone that's used them. They might be able to get you out of there.FtWorthTrucker Thanks this. -
Malarkey Roofing has no credit rating so watch out. Central Oregon Truck has an "A" rating.

Be carefull with System transport,,I hauled a 65,000lb OS load for them a couple years ago,,they gave me a rate plus $350 for permits,,when they found out I did not use all the $350 because I had annual permits they wanted their permit money back, they also loaded one day late and then wanted me to run the load illegal to keep their customer happy,,will never haul for them again,,
In the northwest you might also call TP Trucking and Medowlark brokers
