Wabash tier 1 vs tier 2 ?

    Whats the difference between a Wabash tier 1 and a tier 2 dry van....?

    The specs look the same on the info sheet.

    From the looks maybe tier 2 is heavier spec? Look close at the side walls. Rivits are closer together

    Logistics posts on the tier 1 are at 50” and the tier 2 at 24”

    I assume that’s 24” or 50” front to back.....


    The spec sheet on the website is pretty sparse.......

    Yes, depending on what you or your “friend” plan to haul would depend on which trailer you’d want to buy. The trailer with 50” post spacing will weigh less and be cheaper, all other specs being the same.

    Tier 1 has aluminum wheels, tier 2 has steel

    So there seems to be no reasonable tier 2 builds on tier 1 type of thing.....


    Doesn’t make a lot of sense...possibly tier 1 is there lightweight package
