lilt1954,
I have had almost the exact same situation with them. My husband worked for them for 2 different times the first he was not getting any loads and the lowest pay he had got in 10 years of trucking. He recently went back he worked one week and then didn't get loads for 3 weeks. The dispatchers kept telling him they would call to give him a load and never get back with him.
The time he did work in that past few months he has not been paid. It has been 5 weeks and still no check. Direct deposit or mail. They have told us lie after lie as to why he hasn't recived his check. "It will be in the bank on Friday." & It was sent by mail. You should get it in 3 days." or a whole slew of over excuses. Payroll is a clueless as dispatch. As a business owner myself I can't believe how unprofessional and unorganized the office staff is. He resent his log info to them on two different occasions and still no pay. We looked back into his old pay stubs and logs. The last time he worked for them they jipped him out of a weeks worth of pay too. This time they have just decided not to pay him period. I am reporting them today to Indiana workforce and the BBB.
BTW make sure to check every pay stub because they deduct payroll advances even if you don't get advances. I have caught them doing this many many times. So each time they screw up in this area, if it is on the next check at all, your getting taxed for your money twice.
