Will valve being bad also keep air bags from inflating

I have the same problem with air leaking. Will this cause breaks to not release and air bags to not inflate ?

I'm having the same problem but with the driver side. I replaced the Modulator valve with a new one but it's still leaking now the passenger side started leaking.

Can you open them up, clean them out, and replace the O-rings? Or is it better to just replace the modulators? I had to replace my steer ones because the front fenders being loose ate a groove into the metal. In the future, I'd rather spend a few bucks and a bit of time than a couple hundred bucks if possible.

The time it takes to pull it off, open it up. Possibly damaging the internal parts, dropping parts, not putting it back together right as well as not using the correct lube on the orings. Then reinstalling it to find out it still leaks or doesn't function. Not sure what you value your time as but, in the long run it's better to replace it one for one. If you pay a shop to do it, then it will have some type of warranty work on it as well. When we have leaky valves, we just replace them.
