I will have 5 months on the 15th of aug, still clean. I went to midland two weeks ago and got one offer for water hauling. Is it better to go down and take that job or wait till i have 6 months? and try to find a better co. Offer pays 16 an hour ac not working on all trucks. Is a month in the oil field better?

If you have a for sure job i would go for it. I am sure you will find another company if that one sucks exp if you are already working there.

$16/hour is typical for the first year. More opportunities will open up after that. IMHO, one more month driving OTR won't land you a better paying job. You'll still be a newbie.

I agree, until you get at least a year under your belt its kind of a mute point. At least now you can get oilfield experience while you get more driving experience. Sounds like a winning combination to me! Good luck
