I've put in several applications and was wondering how long it usually takes for a recruiter to make a decision.

depends on a number of variables... How much experience do you have?
-
About 6 months. Only problem that was 20 years ago. Last 10 years I've been a yard jockey.

If its a bigger company it shouldn't be more than a week alls the recruiter needs to do is run ur dac and csa and verify employment to how many yrs of verifiable driving experience u have. See I don't if they will count being a yard jockey to experience within the last yr . All companies are diff but I know at mine if u want to go out as a solo driver u have to have 6 months or more of variable experience I want to say in the past yr but it could be 2 or 3. But at my company if u haven't been in a truck for 3 yrs u have to start as a student driver. All companies are diff though

they run your criminal history and mvr also.

They only look at moving violations, so you have one minor violation nearly 4 years ago. Nothing I would lose sleep over. They will, maybe, ask you what happened and move on. Good luck with everything.
Twicebit Thanks this. -
How long do things stay on your dac? I got mine about three months ago and there was nothing on it.
-
That's.strange, were you in a CMV, and did it affect your CSA
-
I was in a cmv. It didn't affect my csa.
