Just WOW! For the prices we pay for these trucks we should be treated a lot better. I would put them on full blast if they are not helping at all. This cannot be normal for them to do and get away with it. This is why people drive trucks through someones shop or company!!!!
Waiting on New Trucks thread.

Unfortunately it’s like if you don’t have a fleet of trucks your a inconvenience to these shops and dealers. That goes from sales, service, and aftercare.
I’m based out of the area Hurricane is so we use the same Great Dane, Thermo King and Peterbilt dealer. They absolutely get preferential treatment. A few of my carrier friends have called these dealers out for it. I get why they and the megas get the elevated treatment and is why I tend to use the mom and pops when I can.
I still find it amazing how hard it is to get salesman to call you back. I’m still waiting on 2 salesmen to call me back for a month now. We are past the part in the cycle where I’m calling you, if you want a sale you are calling me.Rideandrepair, Feedman and Siinman Thank this. -
I have had nothing but issues of JX not wanting to fix complaints and wanting me to pay for warranty work every time they can’t fix a problem. Paccar dealer network is junk. I will not buy another new Paccar truck.

I was pleasantly surprised with the promptness of service and the parts availability, and the prices seemed fair as well.
I guess maybe the dealership management must have a lot to do with quality of the dealership, regardless of the brand. It would be well worth paying a bit more on the price tag of a new truck if one was going to receive premium service. It is sad that that isn't the case with all Paccar dealers.haycarter, RedForeman, wore out and 6 others Thank this. -

Like was mentioned cold weather drips are worth checking for. The truck I'm in now was losing about a half gallon a month when temps dropped cooler. Every hose clamp needed tightening, leaks all gone now.

I like my sales guy but the rest of the crew seem like a complete joke. Asked when I needed trailer back and I said I sure would love to have it back by Thursday and he basically told me not a chance in hell. I have some light issues and a couple small items that should take less than 8 hours to fix.
I will most likely be buying something else next time.Rideandrepair, Feedman, Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this. -
