Waiting on New Trucks thread.

I like the looks of the HX with that newer style cab.

 

What’s it weigh bobtail?

 

22,000lbs without the bumper and drop axle - I’d say 24k with those.

 

I may have to go back to international then. It’d be nice to scale another 3,000 pounds

 

I’ll get a proper weight for you here once the trucks are ready.

I was also thinking of this headache rack, but God #### is it expensive.

Again another increase from last week with 22 more available for sale. It was pretty grim out there in the freight market and not sure what the catalyst will be beyond capacity leaving the market. I still haven't pulled the trigger on the 579 I was looking at. Honestly the past 2 days I was just blah with how the freight market was and didn't want to think about it. I still think we are in the early innings of the new truck sales crashing and that's what's stuck in my mind although I knew it's a double edged sword as it would also impact my trade in value.

 

It’s pretty slick though. I had a 5900 with a small aftermarket bunk. Spec’d the same. It was 25k. This WS is 28. I heard the new 59x’s aren’t any lighter.

 

Is that like around a 20% increase in available trucks ?

 

It's a 10% increase since last week and a 17% increase since I started tracking 3 weeks ago.

 

I don’t like the outer doors being hinged on their inner edges. I’d want them hinged on the outers, especially with the cabinet being angled outward. Standing on the catwalk with a door in the way would be a PITA.
