    Realistically it will be tire chains and random stuff stored in that, everything else gets stored in the 2 trailer boxes on every trailer.

    The market is swinging fast . Wabash have a lot full of trailer at there headquarter location in lafayette,in and the production is only at 50%. Mostly cancelled orders.

    I’m not sure what you’d be grabbing from the ground. You’re not reaching chains or binders. And, you wouldn’t store straps with them.

    Chain will be lying in the bottom.

    I always stored mine in the cab side box, so to keep them clean, dry, and hopefully not frozen.

    Flags, windshield covers, exhaust covers, PB blaster for binders, hammer, shackles, bungees, among other things is what I store in boxes that I reach from the ground, but that is for pulling a lowboy.

    I keep straps in the cabinet. And shackles and a shovel, and a grease gun and flags and beacon lights. No chains at all.
