Ya that has to be for a speciality trailer otherwise I can see it striking landing gear even with a short pin setting.

Unfortunately, it looks like it’s getting stacks, instead.

    Here's this week's update.

    May 20, 2023
    389 Peterbilt - 102.........9 389X's
    579 Peterbilt - 133
    T680 KW - 169
    W9 KW - 45
    Cascadia - 53
    Volvo Family - 67
    Mack - 51
    International - 67

Another big increase from last week with 687 total units for sale which was another 10% increase from last week and 61% increase since I started tracking this on March 25th. A bunch of those "Peterbilt Steve" large car 389 builds available Tulsa or lots of white 589s available for purchase.

Crazy week in the freight market. Monday and Tuesday was calm than Wednesday it was like no trucks were working. I had a regular broker tell me on multiple loads she had to recover multiple times. So I'm guessing some carriers burned some bridges this week and when this short lived rally is over they will be screwed. A lot of brokers lost a lot of money this week. It's just amazing how delicate the capacity side of trucks is.

That’s what they say. Went over mine real good. Found a tiny leak on my cab air bag supply line. Only saw one scale working hard. All dressed up with nowhere to go. Lol. I need an inspection. Haven’t had one since 2019. Any Carrier or Broker that uses Carrier411 refuses to Load Me. Citing no inspections since 2008. Bogus info on 411. In house audit in 08. 65 inspections since 04. Eventually I’ll get inspected. I just can’t volunteer. Just goes against everything I believe. For now, I pick and choose. For how long? I don’t know. Probably lost 8 decent loads already. Always find another. A few did hurt. It’s the principle of it, I guess. I’m stubborn. My choice.

You don't need anti-venom if you don't jump in front of a snake.

    Here's this week's update.

    389 Peterbilt - 100.........9 389X's
    579 Peterbilt - 135
    T680 KW - 347

An increase of 222 from the previous week and we are now double the listings from when I started this 10 weeks ago. The big increase this week was from MHC. It looks like they have finally posted all of their new inventory on TruckPaper.

This week I tried to buy 2024 Great Dane Reefer with a S600 TK unit (the one in the link). I inquired about it 3 weeks ago and it was $106K then, well salesman said inventory is building and they cut the price to $100K. So with inventory building I thought they might be motivated to make a deal so I sent him my trade info, which is a 2023 Utility with a 2022 7500 Carrier unit on it and drumroll.....they wanted to give me $63K for it. I ordered my Utility in October 2021 and took delivery of it in May 2022 and paid $96K for it. I knew at the time I overpaid for it but you didn't have an option if you wanted a new trailer. To me it doesn't matter what you have to sell the trailer for or what you give me trade-in...I just care about the difference. I told him I'd give him $25K plus my trailer and he said no and good luck. I'm like no sir you need the good luck with inventory building, credit tightening and a recession hitting.

These manufacturers are still living in fantasy land thinking they have pricing power. That trailer was $116K 6 months ago, $106K 3 weeks ago and now is $100K when really it's a $85K trailer.
