The core you’re trading in has to be the same EPA generation as the crate engine you’re wanting to buy.

Help us all if CAT gets back into on-highway. Our nearest CAT house can barely fix a sandwich let alone an engine that was produced over 14 years ago or older. They give us tons of work and have a reputation for doing very poor quality work.

Units for sale were in line with last week. Well I think I'm going to finally buy a truck this week. There's a 579 and 389 I'm deciding between. I never thought I'd entertain another 389 but I just love the set-up and color and I can't move past it. I don't like the 589s so this would truly be the last hood we'd get so that's playing a factor too. There price gap is just so wide it makes no business sense. -
