I agree. For the life of me why would a school train only with autos? I know they are a thing to come but when I give a road test I want to see how well the driver knows the equipment. If he or she has no idea what a clogged fuel filter feels like or what every item on the truck does then they go somewhere else.
Waiting to hear back from my CDL school

And the plot sickens:
I talked to the school's director and he feels I need a 40 hour refresher also (duh?), but he says it won't be free!
Seriously? They charged me $6500@18% + $1500 from WIA (Federal retraining program) and now they want more for the training they should have provided from the beginning?!?
Way past angry at this point! -
schools name again ?
-
They are called The CDL School. They have locations in Menands, NY, Bronx,NY, and also one in Florida.
I just got off the phone with the loan company and since I am not yet able to find work, they will send back the loan paperwork to the school at my request. No job=no loan. -
That's insane. -
Double up on the ################# !!!!!

Those are my thoughts exactly. The problem is that I need a job, but if my CDL won't help me get one, I'm stuck. Realistically, if I was to pay more money, it would NOT be to them!
-
I see where they already have a bunch of unhappy graduates !!!!

WOW..Swift turned you down?.......unbelievable
