Right out of school in 2006 I leased a truck, and made money pulling WM trailers back and forth from Reno to Vegas. At the end of two years I had $10,000 in the bank and a new pickup truck. :) I would only recommend leasing if you can get a dedicated route, or if you train, running the truck as a team operation. LP and solo OTR is a quick trip to the poor house in my humble opinion!!

Why look for a lease purchase if you just want to walk away and not purchase, or sell the truck after you purchased it?

Can you just straight leas a truck?

When I worked at J&R Schugel years ago , they had a 6 month lease with no money down and no credit check . I don't know if they still offer that

I remember they offered me that every month when I was a company driver there ; I passed .

Edit: I just looked it up and they're still doing 6 month leases but the pay looks horrible . I'd pass on that !
