Hey you learn after a bit. 5' 6" and was 215 body has decided to fight back on its own now I'm down to 198 in 2 weeks lost most of it in 6 days. Your doing good with what your doing keep up the good work. I am doing the same thing because when you get that wakeup call in the ER! it's not fun and it isn't a joke. they tell me it will be weeks before I can hold a driving job if ever. again keep doin what your doin and hopefully all will work for you. and remember "small steps are better than no steps!"

That is way too boring. Once when I was in Al. I went for a walk while they were loading me and I found 100 dollar bill in a field ! made my day no one around way away from any kind of store or office. so I just put it in my pocket and kept walking.

good for you winkjr. I love my carbs and sweets and try hard to cut down but...

I pull a stepdeck and I did drop 30lbs when I started but now I'm steady at 200. I like to walk and will often walk a few miles to a good restaurant, makes me careful of what I order after walking that far. I tried a chin up when I started and couldn't get my feet off the ground. Now I am getting close to doing 10 without cheating

Keep working on it. Its amazing how much better you feel.

That's a nice score. Yeah I been walking but your right the truckstops are boring so I been just leaving the truckstops and exploring. In a couple months I'll start running again.

Yeah I always unload my own truck and break it down at the warehouses. Gives me exercise too and money. I'll guess I'm going to have to tap into my usmc days and do PT every day.

    Still at it wink?
I lose motivation fast, walking the same route daily gets old. Trying some new routes to keep it fresh.
    Hope your also seeing progress.
I couldn't do PT like in the Marines without the DI standing there screaming :D

I need to lose about 50-70 pounds within a year. I started walking about 2 weeks ago, 2 miles a day. 30 minutes of fast walk equals to 1 mile. So, I try to walk 30 min.in the am hours and 30 min. in the evening. It does not matter how big the truck stop is or any rest area. I just walk until 30 minutes are up, 5-10 minutes stretching and good to go.
I also reduced my calorie intake, from 3000 to 1400-1500. It's tough, but I feel i have to have drastic measures to reverse my weight gain.
