It says that the truck "was traveling at 65 mph for the 60 seconds preceeding the collision." This suggests--to me--that the truck, doing 65, hit the van. But the picture of the van ... it seems that a 65 mph collision would telescope a van more. I dunno. I've read all of this so many times I don't know what to think anymore. Even if Wal Mart settles, there's sure to be a trial for the driver.gpsman and AfterShock Thank this. -
I wish I had time and money to sue some of the states for endangering my health and Cdl when its safe to drive 60 and everyone does exactly but they have 45mph speed limit sign regardless.
So I usually compromise and drive 5 or 10 over. Don't want to get a ticket and neither to get rearendedOldHasBeen Thanks this. -
a Truck traveling at 65 MPH without braking would have flatten the limo, and many other cars...
The accident scene would have been more than an overturned limo....
something like this one... that happened in a construction zone, 65 mph and no braking by a bus...

Yea I think the best thing is to leave it to a court of law to determine the guilt. Im sure none of us has the full facts on it.
