You are absolutely correct, the van could have been traveling anywhere from 0 to who knows, I think we are all alluding to the media making it seem as a 65mph impact, at least that is what I get out of the reporting.

    Roadmedic, come on now.

Please explain to me why it's ok for you to jump to conclusions without waiting for the facts, and yet wrong for everybody else?

From the many accidents I have been on where the driver is restrained and passengers not. In addition reading the article that was linked in the quote.

You will note I did not state they were not wearing the seatbelts. I just said it was not hard to figure.

It was stated in one of the news articles that the two drivers had seat belts on when the accident first happened, I haven't seen mention of it OR the others NOT wearing a seat belt since. Besides, IF this was a chauffeured vehicle, with a driver /co-driver then I am sure they have a company seat belt policy, just like every other Commercial vehicle.

I could not remember exactly where I had read it. Thanks.

The only reason I even remembered it was I thought it odd that a limo running a relative short distance would have two drivers. I could see it on a long distance bus, but it just made me take notice being a limo.

The Walmart driver ran into the back of the limo, Jimmy Mac was in the back, taking the brunt of the impact. What would a seatbelt have done there? Not directing this at you Bergy. Just more people holding this steering wheel holder's hand.

So you made a logical assumption based on the evidence. Much the same as I and others have done, but then you scolded us.

If you think he is innocent, argue for that. I'd have respect for that.

I normally don't make predictions on this type of thing, until I see enough people refusing to believe the evidence. The last time was that crazy driver who was ended by the security guard. Same thing happened there - everybody refusing to believe the truth and cutting the guy slack. I said he was guilty and he was. I'm making the same prediction here, and will apologize if I'm wrong.

You're arguing about seatbelts as if it would have saved a life here trying to take the sting off the Walmart steering wheel holder. He killed him when he slammed into the back of the limo. If he was wearing a belt, you think that would have lessened the impact of the Walmart truck? You're something else.
