The picture shows them in the limo.

I would agree that the truck impact is not the result of the death. It would have had rotational unrestrained activity in the rollover. Therefore, the limo company is partially responsible for the safe transit of passengers and contributed to the death.

I'm reading it as he had already been thru MOST of his route, that's why the time not driving, read it again and see if you come up with the same thing.

It concluded that Roper left a Wal-Mart facility in Smyrna, Delaware, at about 11:30 a.m. on June 6 and made stops in Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania during the day. Just after midnight on June 7 he left Bristol, Pennsylvania, en route to Perth Amboy, New Jersey, when the crash happened about 30 minutes into his trip.

He had "worked" all day, although it's not an excuse, and no one in the media or Gov. wants to hear it, he was probably up against his clock running out.

Yea, but the rest of us can't always park at WalMart because not all of them allow truck parking, and the bigger point I am trying to MAKE here is that parking in the North East is hard to find.

This isn't about the rest of us. This is about the actions of a driver who killed someone. And by the way there is a ton of parking in the northeast if you know where to look. Even in NYC.

No one has said that he was driving for over 24 hours, just that he hadn't slept for more than 24 hours. If true, he has a problem in New Jersey, but that tidbit surfaced soon after the collision and it may turn out to just be something a cop said. He was, apparently, HOS-legal. Still, there's no excuse for 65 in a 45.

Sorry, but there isn't a ton of parking in the North East. If your looking for a parking spot after 5 p.m. forget it.

That helps a little but smyrna, De to Bristol,Pa to Cranbury, NJ is 118 miles (about 2 hrs). He must have had a lot of stops in DE for it to take him 7 hours and 37 minutes to make them all? At least very spread out?LOL

Yea thats why I quit running the northeast, you cannot make any time up there in NJ and NY. Got to where you couldnt make any in CT with all the road construction
