Yea I know he could have found a Walmart at exit 8, Probably exit 9 too? But he wasnt far from Perth Amboy there at exit 8. He wasnt but 22 miles from where he was going.

I ran the Northeast my entire career. Trust me. There's parking. Everywhere.

I disagree with those of you who are using this to discuss the ridiculous HOS rules, or lack of truck parking. This distracted former driver (who didn't even brake) slammed into a limo was going 20 mph over the speed limit - NUFF SAID. By reducing this to an HOS discussion you are making excuses for him, and implying it could have happened to anyone.

Speeding, ok, we all make mistakes. Not watching where you are going, ok, we all are distracted once in a while. Both? - no way, no excuses, vehicular homicide all the way. See ya and buh, bye. Thankfully the deaths were not more than one.

I forget what his quote was, something about it being his road and get out of his way? Now he doesn't have to worry about being the tough guy on the road anymore. Now he just has to figure out if he pitches or catches.

Nice to know you can predict the outcome of the trial. Just like the media.

The big issue here is whether the EOBR could have something to do with the speed.

Me predicting a guilty verdict isn't a reasonable assumption?

How long were the skid marks?

What kind of god complex did he have according to his twitter account?

    How fast was he going?

My conclusion of an impending guilty is a lot less speculative than those attributing his actions to lack of parking or low HOS.

Yes, everyone has the right to be proven guilty. Look at OJ Simpson.

As far as the twitter account. You have proof it is his? My twitter account does not have my name and not one of the people I know have their name on it other than celebrities.

I still believe that there is more to the collision than we know. The limo company should share in the blame for not securing the passengers.

I certainly believed that OJ Simpson was guilty of murder, but the trial verdict was different.

Oh, really? So, I guess I'm just imagining all the company trucks that blow by me on a regular basis in towns and construction zones?

The twitter account will be easy enough to prove or disprove once they get their hands on all his records and devices.

You could be correct on a portion of the blame going to the limo company, depending on the laws.

If your family got wiped out because of a driver who was going 20 over, and was so distracted that he didn't even brake... I'd guess, that given the chance, you would end him on the spot. Why cut him slack because you didn't know the victim?

If I'm wrong assuming guilt I will publicly apologize, but I can't suspend intelligent thought.
