I honestly don’t know one way or the other how it works. I was a street hire. But yes, at those smaller terminals, Feeder is considered a retirement gig. Something you do toward the end of your career.

I don't know how people can slip seat in a sleeper truck. No way you could ever pay me enough to do that.

MACK E-6, HaglerFan and LtlAnonymous Thank this.

All I need fits in a backpack. So I could do it well enough.

UPS Freight and truckload was basically just a rebranding of the old Overnite Transportation which Union Pacific sold to UPS back in 2005-06.

They sold UPS Freight, which was like...you know how FedEx has FedEx Ground and FedEx Freight? Same deal.

Yes that's what I was thinking. @LtlAnonymous mentioned packing but I wasn't talking about packing in my post. I'm talking about cleanliness. People's comfort of cleanliness or definitions of clean vary too wildly from person to person. I hate slip seating in a daycab (which I just started doing for the first time) due to the cleanliness issues but I refuse to slip seat in a sleeper birth. Because a sleeper birth is your living space. I just couldn't do it. Like I said you couldn't pay me enough lol.
