Send the broker the address to the nearest cold storage location. Inform them that Walmart has 4 hours to get this #### off my trailer or they have all the time in the world to go pick it up from cold storage themselves. Pick up my next load the following morning. I don't have time to waste over some petty BS like that.

You screwed up. Not Wal-Mart. Not the broker. Not the shipper. the screw up is completely on the carrier and the driver. Be a big boy and accept responsibility for this.
Or be a child and throw a Lil temper tantrum and threaten to take it to a cold storage facility. Their response will be too laugh at you because any one with a brain cell knows that the carrier has full liability for the freight until the bol is signed.kw600 Thanks this. -
I had a Walmart drop. Took them five hours to get three skids off. Thank god for paper logs.

must of been late checking in. Get checked in before the appointment time, and I was always called back at exactly 2 hours from the appointment time, regardless if it was 2 pallets or a full trailer.

They must have went downhill from when I used to regularly deliver to many walmart DC's. Used to check in at an hour or even a bit more than 1 hour before, did all the steps never had any problems. Done and out of there in 2 to 3 hours max. Never much more than 2 past my appt. time though.
