you back up the trailer without hitting anything. do not and i repeat do not put your arm out the window or open the door. have seat belt on and use 3 points of contact getting in and out. blow the horn before backing. but what ever you do. you better get out and walk around the whole truck and trailer before backing. walmart is very big on the circle of safety. that means walking around the whole unit and checking before backing. it is a automatic step if you hit something without walking around. either behind you or in front of you.(this is after you hire on)
