Nearly everything you do, when not driving, you get paid for. Picking up a load at a DC or a vendor, stopping at a store, training, sleeping in your truck, break downs, unscheduled time, etc...all activities. There is a slight difference in some of the activity pay (live loads/unloads vs. drop and hooks), but generally you'll make a fairly decent amount in activity pay throughout the day. The activity pay adds up, and helps remove the worry about cranking out miles to make money. Hope that helps.

Yes, no touch freight. We "supervise" the unloading at stores.

just ask if walmart is mandating there drivers to get the jab. that answer is no. not at this time are they requiring the drivers. we arent white truck walmart truck drivers. we are walmart drivers. we are here to make money. you are the captain of your ship. you run your logs legal and you run your hours to be productive and to make tons of money. we get wait time after 45 minutes(vendors, other dc's)

I think bridge pay is when a driver in New York City area has to go over some bridge, major hassle/time waster. Maybe Long Island.I don't remember exactly.
Heard about this years ago in a grass roots mtg.
