That's good to hear, I just hope the corporate suits don't hit you guys with another big paycut as the economy slows. Maybe you weren't around back then, but Sam Walton would never agree to some of the nonsense going on there. He was 100% for the drivers.

Better be careful broadcasting "how good you have it working as a Walmart driver". The bean counters begin to see this is the general consensus, they may start to wonder if they're paying too much .... and again, cut back and "reorganize" their private fleet model.

 

The last time they cut back they seen what happened and the same will happen again, thats why they increased and not decreased pay.

 

Okay. He who giveth can also taketh away when they sense the dynamics are changing. Especially at a company that counts pennies.

 

Just wait until they start hiring students and they won't be paying 90K a year!
