That does not look like 90% to me. I guess it is easier to parrot some mantra you heard than to see the facts. Of the remaining percentage of goods that are foreign sourced, you need to look no further than the Capital Beltway. Many businesses here in the U.S.A. did not wake up one day and decide to relocate to East Asia. The Federal government here in the U.S.A. have over-taxed and over-regulated businesses out of the U.S.A.NYVET, mike5511 and Extreme4x4 Thank this. -

Such BS. It's not Wal-Mart's job to pay an employee what the employee think they need to survive. All Wal-Mart has to do is pay what the market demands for that job.
Plus Wal-Mart isn't being subsidized a penny. The reason some Wal-Mart employees are on welfare is because the government has made it easier to receive welfare. If you have a problem with some Wal-Mart employees receiving welfare, call your representatives and demand that welfare spending be reigned in.
You wanna see real welfare? Let's say Wal-Mart ciezed all operations tomorrow, then we would have over 1 million on true welfare in a heartbeat.
The question shouldn't be of how many Wal-Mart employees are welfare but how many Wal-Mart employees are NOT on welfare?
Fact is Wal-Mart is offering the best possible jobs to those people taking those low wage jobs at Wal-Mart. Why do I say that? Because if those employees had a better job offer than Wal-Mart, they would have taken that offer over Wal-Mart.Extreme4x4, NYVET, TomOfTx and 2 others Thank this. -
Wal-Mart turned your little town into a ghost town? I highly doubt that was Wal-Mart's fault. Sounds like your little town had other problems. What town was that?
Because Wal-Mart came to my little town (Kingman Az) in the early 90's. Since then built a new Super Wal-Mart, and my little town has continued to grow. My little town has more shopping options than ever before, even with Wal-Mart around.
Could Wal-Mart afford to pay their employees $15? I guess, but is the employee even worth $15? And are we also going to force that little mom and pop business down the road that operates on a razor thin profit margin to pay $15 too? -
Those 2400 are most likely there because the unemployment ran out. Your definition of success seems mute when only a few thousand wallyworld employees are actually making a living wage.Thats right,Sam's kids and a few thousand management types.Oh,and those lucky truckers. Nobody has bothered addressing the fact that 1.5 associates and all teir kids have to be taken care of by others. Why doesn't wallyworld use their charitable spirit among-st their own.
And rest assured my investments contain anything to do with your employer as I'm certain they will one day screw them as well.HalpinUout Thanks this. -
Dude, let it go.

I am well aware of the growth of your little town that only happened because 2 major routes happen to cross each other. Those wallyworld planners were really on their game the day they picked Kingman...LOL Oh, and the proximity to Las Vegas. Guess you have heard about the water problem in Nevada, seems Kingman has plenty.
And we're all saving so much on our grocery bills since Wally got in that segment of business...LOL...Thank you for bringing our grocery bills down, can I have another...haha -
An old wise man once told me that "resentment is like drinking a glass of poison and expecting it to kill your enemies".
