More then a few posts here saying people were just having bad days that is no excuse. I had plenty of bad days I never take my problems out on people and throw #### at them or run over their foot or whatever else. There are plenty of ways to relieve stress without affecting other people.

I certainly would've, but that's just me. Deciding to record someone having a hard time with something so he can laugh about it later, or for whatever reason, to me is roughly tantamount to poking the lion in the cage. Don't whine if you get bitten.

I see the snowflakes are in typical form like usual.

It's funny the worker crying about his job throwing a temper tantrum throwing #### around sounds like the snowflake in my opinion. Maybe he dropped his pacifier and it got dirt on it.

It was overboard the op filming him also.Walmart should have a policy against video taping in the plant.

Ya, great advice... Ever hear of destroying evidence. Maybe think before you post on the internet especially when you are acting like an azzhat, recording someone to laugh at and get your jollies off to later. Sounds to me he already won his prize. Oh and I already took screenshots of op posts and will keep them safe ;-)

Follow Swift's workers comp requirements to the #### letter or they will #### you royally. I know a few who this has happened to and Swift didn't pay. Dude just got 7.5 mill from Walmart when he was hurt by a watermelon display lol

Of course I did. She berates the OP by saying "You can't be too hurt if you came here rather than seek medical attention". Put someone on an "Ignore" list because you can't stand to be corrected. How pathetic......

I just don't understand the lack of sympathy here for a fellow driver.

It's not like if a dispatcher or customer does any number of the disrespectful or asinine things they do to drivers everyday, that they take the risk of getting maimed by a driver.

And if a driver were to be the victim of a careless, fugitive 4-wheeler and suffer a damaged load, he/she runs the real risk of losing their job with the carrier footing the bill for the damage.

It's quite the catch-22: if the OP hadn't recorded the incident, he would likely not have a "strong" case, whereas that's the very thing he's being lambasted for.

You don't have to like the fact that he was recording in order to sympathize with his injury and wish him well on being compensated. If we were talking about a driver losing a job and a carrier paying out tens of thousands for damaged cargo, the same people would be saying it's par for the course.

Perhaps it's precisely this double-standard that contributes to the industry- and government-wide lack of interest in properly valuing the drivers. If drivers don't care about drivers, who else will?
