We used Cintas at my dc. No fitting. Honestly just wear your own pants. Just get the shirt from them. They don't require you to wear their pants too. Just the shirt.

Yes you can wear shorts as long as they meet WM standards. I always wore my own jeans and shorts so don't know if the uniform company provides them. If you do wear shorts a male manager will measure them when you're wearing them. ;);)

They provide shorts if you want them I think it's 11 pairs. I wear all the company provided stuff and let Cintas do the laundering. Saves us a LOT of work at the house (not to mention our water bill, energy bill, expensive laundry detergent and wasted time) not having to launder 2 or 3 more large loads of clothes every weekend. Ain't no way I'd get my own work jeans and such with them providing free ones. I've never had a pair of Carhart blue jeans in my life until they gave me some and they're the best jeans ever imo. Just like the good old Levi's from 30 years ago before they cut costs and started making them cheaply and paper thin in Mexico.

I start on Monday, they said at Onboarding your shirt should be tucked in. Are they strick on that, would I be able to wear the shirt untucked? I know it sounds trivial I prefer to wear the shirt untucked. If I cant then thats ok, im just curious. Thanks

Not having your shirt tucked in is considered being 'out of uniform' and you will get a step so stay tucked.;):)

I'm sure that you were informed during talking with a recruiter or told about their dress code before you accepted the job that shirts are to be tucked in. If you prefer your shirt out I'm sure that you can find a job in a regular freight company if you're that picky.

As with most things in Walmart transportation, the shirt tucked in policy varies by DC. Here on the left coast, several of our DC’s have better things to do than to nag drivers over their shirt being untucked. There’s also a DC or 2 that I know of that WILL nag drivers. So again, depends on what DC it is, and where on the priority list they place keeping shirts tucked in. For example, I think in 5 plus years now with Walmart I’ve tucked my shirt in once. Never have the uniform adherence police ever threatened me with unemployment over it. YMMV

When I worked at Conway Southern Exp., they supplied the uniforms and the dress code. The shirts had the standard "tails" so tucked in was the rule. You were allowed to have the tails taken off and re-stitched to be straight
