If you are concerned about parts availability then you should consider Peterbilt, Kenworth, International or Freightliner. You should find most any parts you will need for those brands.

While buying a stinger, which parts of the truck and the trailer should be inspected carefully. I know, you'll say there's much to list but I'll be glad if you can summarize the very important ones...

You need to check out all the usually things, such as king pins, suspension, engine, fifth wheel, etc., In addition, you also want to check ramps for cracks along with the trailer frame and structure. It isn't unusual to find cracks in both. Rust can also be a concern on the trailer frame rails with car haulers. You can also check hydraulics for leaks and worn hoses. Check the PTO. Make sure all ramps are on the truck, they can be expensive to replace. I would also check the trailer suspension.

I sold my FL because all they could say at the parts counter was "I'll have to order it"... they didn't even keep oil/fuel filters in stock for my 11.1 Detroit... how sad is that? -
Looked at your truck link. Every little thing in car hauling has to do with weight try and find a unit with aluminum flippers and not steel this saves a couple of hundred pounds. High rails are a little harder to load unless you have hauled cars before. Take a look at a Cottrell 7510. This is a low side trailer and has flexability of a high rail. Most of the car hauler trucks out there are Pete's because the car hauling industry continues to have a great number of O/O and a Pete it is an owner operator truck. They are a bit heavier but they give a great ride.
